Gunslinger Series Vol 5 - Molten Steel: Posterized 13x19" Paper Print

$ 25.00

2018's game against Pittsburgh was special for a number of reasons. The Chiefs remained undefeated, Patrick Mahomes had an amazing day - scoring six touchdowns on his way to ten for the season (a record). KC was also able to get the Steel Monkey off their back. I wanted the first Gunslinger painting of the regular season to encapsulate a lot, so I threw in some easter eggs as well. Beyond the six footballs representing his six touchdowns, I threw in some other statistical references as well. There is a date on his wristband that represents the last time the Chiefs won in Pittsburgh, which was in 1986. Another wristband marks his ten TDs with an X. His play call wrist band also has a list of player numbers he's thrown TDs to this season. Lastly, his larger pose (a deuces reference to Tyreek) is actually from the first road game against the Chargers.

My Gunslinger Series is a project I started to visually track Pat Mahomes' pro career, and I will be updating it throughout his (hopefully long) time with Kansas City.
