The Kansas City Chiefs actually broke the Guinness Book of World Records' mark for loudest outdoor stadium twice. This was painted after it was broken the first time with a record 136.5 db level. The Seahawks barely broke the record just weeks later with a 136.6 db level, before the Chiefs SMASHED that record the following year with a deafening 142.2 db. I was lucky enough to be a part of both of these attempts. "Loud & Proud" became the mantra that year.
